The following Terms and Conditions (in addition to the documents referred to in them) govern your
use of our website and its related sites, services, applications, and tools. By using servicingstop.co.uk
you confirm that you both understand these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to abide by
them. This document supersedes Terms and Conditions listed on all previously dated documents.
Please read the Terms carefully and if you do not accept the Terms, do not use the Website.
We may need to change the Terms from time to time for a number of reasons (including to comply
with applicable laws and regulations, and regulatory requirements). Any minor or insubstantial
changes may be made at any time and you are advised to review the Terms on a regular basis. The
most up to date Terms will be available on the Website. All major changes will be notified to you in
advance of such changes taking effect. If any change is unacceptable to you, you should cease using
the Website and/or close your account. If, however, you continue to use the Website after the date
on which the changes to the Terms come into effect, you will be deemed to have accepted those changes.
Reference to "you", "your" or the "customer" is reference to any person using the Website or the
services of Servicing Stop or any registered customer of Servicing Stop.

Who we are
Servicing Stop Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 6558606) with
its registered office at 57 London Road, Enfield, EN2 6DU ("Servicing Stop", "we", "us", "our").
We operate an online platform and booking service which enables customers to arrange vehicle
servicing, MOTs and repairs with independent third-party garages.

Service Terms & Conditions
Our role
Servicing Stop Ltd acts solely as an intermediary and booking agent. We do not carry out vehicle servicing, MOTs, repairs or mechanical work ourselves.
All vehicle services are performed by independent third-party garages ("Garages") who are not employees, partners or agents of Servicing Stop Ltd.
Contract for Vehicle Services
When you make a booking through Servicing Stop:
Servicing Stop arranges the booking and administers payment on behalf of the Garage; and
The contract for vehicle servicing, MOT or repair work is formed directly between you and the Garage carrying out the work.
Servicing Stop Ltd is not a party to the contract for the vehicle services and is not responsible for the performance of those services.
Bookings and Authorisation
By completing a booking, you authorise Servicing Stop Ltd to:
Arrange services with a suitable Garage;
Arrange collection and return of your vehicle where applicable;
Communicate with you on behalf of the Garage; and
Collect payment and pass it to the Garage.
No additional work will be undertaken without your prior approval.
Pricing and Additional Charges
All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Certain vehicles may require specialist oils or additional components. Any such requirements
will be quoted to you prior to authorisation.
Where additional work is approved and exceeds £36.00 in value, an environmental surcharge
of 10% may be applied to the invoice to cover waste disposal and environmental compliance
All work is subject to VAT as required by UK law.
Servicing Stop Ltd shall provide the customer with detailed costing information of their car
servicing before any work is started. All work and costs, including additional work following a
garage survey, must be approved by the customer before said work is carried out Depending
on your vehicle's make and model, specialist oils (longlife oil or low ash/saps oil) may be
required for your service. All specialist oils have a set price of £29.99 + VAT. Should your
vehicle require replacement spark plugs or a new fuel filter, they will be quoted to you on the
day of the service.
Servicing Stop are committed to reducing our own environmental footprint whilst also using
resources responsibly and reducing waste. To this end, where additional work is approved by
the customer and the total value of that additional work exceeds £36.00, an environmental
surcharge of 10% will be applied to the total cost of the invoice. For more information

Collection and Delivery
Free vehicle collection and delivery is offered subject to availability and vehicle condition.
Target collection and delivery times are estimates only.
If a vehicle is undriveable or deemed unsafe, recovery may be required at the customer’s expense.
It is always the intention of Servicing Stop to complete the Customer's car service, MOT or
repairs within 1 day. Sometimes - due to reasons beyond the control of Servicing Stop - late
delivery may be necessary. Should this be the case, the customer will be advised accordingly
by an employee of Servicing Stop.
The target vehicle collection time is between 8am and 10am. The target delivery time is 4pm
and 6pm. If unforeseen circumstances cause the vehicle to be collected/delivered outside
these times, the customer shall be updated by a Servicing Stop representative. If your vehicle
is undrivable then recovery will need to be arranged. If desired, Servicing Stop can provide
quotations for the cost of vehicle recovery from the nominated collection address.
Alternatively, this can be arranged independently either with your insurance provider or a
vehicle recovery company of your choosing. Vehicle recovery is not included within our free
collection and delivery service.
Under new MOT test regulations - effective 20 May 2018 - a vehicle with defects classified as
'dangerous' may not be driven on public roads in England, Scotland or Wales unless
corrective work is undertaken. If the defects remain unfixed, legally the vehicle may not be
driven from the test centre either by Servicing Stop - as part of prearranged delivery, or by
the customer or any third party. The vehicle may be collected via a recovery service arranged
either privately or via Servicing Stop, at a cost to be incurred by the customer. A vehicle with
defects classified as 'major' will only be delivered at the discretion of the garage; Servicing
Stop may ask the vehicle owner to either collect or arrange for the vehicle to be recovered.
In the event of a courtesy or replacement vehicle being offered to the customer for the
duration of the service; this will be subject to the servicing garage's insurance. If the event of
a claim on the insurance, the customer will be liable to pay the excess on the claim. Before
taking possession of the replacement/courtesy vehicle, the customer must agree to all terms
and conditions of the said policy put in place by the servicing garage. In the event of
insurance not being applicable to a replacement/courtesy car, the servicing garage will
inform the customer that they are responsible for providing their own insurance.
Servicing Stop shall not be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to item(s), valuables or
monies contained within the vehicle for the duration of the contracted work - including
vehicle collection and delivery.
Workmanship, Parts and Warranties
All workmanship and parts warranties are provided by the Garage that carried out the work.
Servicing Stop Ltd does not provide warranties for vehicle servicing, repairs or workmanship.
Where requested, Servicing Stop will assist customers in liaising with the Garage in relation
to any valid warranty claim. All parts used will adhere to the vehicle manufacturers' service
schedules, and will be of OE (Original Equipment) quality in line with manufacturer warranty requirements.
All vehicle servicing arranged by Servicing Stop carries a 12-month (or 12,000 mile -
whichever comes first) warranty, redeemable through the garage which carries out the work.
The warranty covers replacement parts - should they be defective - or related workmanship.
The warranty is dependent on:
Servicing Stop Ltd or an affiliated garage being given an opportunity to investigate and rectify any faults within a reasonable timeframe;
The manufacturer's vehicle operating instructions being followed;
Ensuring the vehicle is serviced at a frequency recommended by the manufacturer (for the relevant time and distance);
Full compliance with advisories, warnings and information or any instructions provided by Servicing Stop or an affiliated garage;
The parts or workmanship performed not being subjected to abnormal conditions or unreasonable wear and tear.
Servicing Stop Ltd does not accept any liability for damage, losses or theft resulting whilst the
vehicle is in the garage's care or from the storage of customer vehicles at a Servicing Stop Ltd affiliated garage.
Servicing Stop Ltd will fully support your vehicle's service history. Upon completion of the
service your vehicle's service book will be stamped (where possible), a copy of the service
schedule will be provided and digital service records (DSR's) will be updated if relevant and
where available (please contact us directly to check if your vehicles manufacturer accepts our DSR updates).
Damage, Loss and Liability
Where a customer’s vehicle suffers damage, loss or defect arising from:
Poor workmanship;
Negligence;
Error or omission; or
Failure to meet required standards
by a Garage, any claim must be pursued directly against the Garage responsible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Servicing Stop Ltd shall not be liable for any
damage, loss, cost or expense arising from the acts or omissions of a Garage.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability which cannot legally be excluded, including
liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Customer Support and Assistance
While Servicing Stop Ltd does not accept liability for Garage workmanship, we will, where appropriate:
Provide relevant booking and payment information;
Assist in communications with the Garage; and
Support customers in progressing claims directly with the Garage.
Such assistance does not constitute acceptance of liability.
Personal Property
Neither Servicing Stop Ltd nor the Garage accepts responsibility for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
Customers are advised to remove valuables prior to collection.
Cancellations
Customers may cancel bookings in accordance with their statutory rights.
An administrative fee of £25 (inclusive of VAT) may apply where a booking is cancelled after
confirmation and less than 72 hours before the requested service date, unless cancellation
results from Servicing Stop being unable to provide the agreed service.
If you provide us permission to commence with additional work by telephone or any other
form of communication the right to a 14 day cooling off period is waived. The right to the 14
day cooling off period is relinquished because the work will start before the 14 days expire.
You can still choose to cancel any agreed works in this period but you will be charged for any
works which have started and/or completed prior to your cancellation and cannot be reversed

help us keep your personal information safe and secure. Servicing Stop Ltd fully complies
with Uk GDPR. By using our website you agree to the collection, use and transfer of the
information you provide to us in conjunction with the terms of this Privacy policy. A full copy

General Terms & Conditions
All person(s) using either the Servicing Stop website or calling Servicing Stop by phone to
make a booking should be at least 18 years of age and reside in the UK.
Servicing Stop Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage or delay in the services it provides should
such services be subject to: an act of God, industrial action such as strikes or government
disputes, factors outside the control of Servicing Stop Ltd.
Where applicable - Servicing Stop Ltd adhere to relevant Health & Safety legislation.
Any customer participating in Servicing Stop loyalty schemes should be advised - any account
remaining inactive following the 12-month activation anniversary will cease to be valid and
any funds contained therein are non-refundable.
By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you are agreeing to the outlined service schedule
for the relevant service - details of our service plans can be found here. Servicing Stop Ltd
will refer to your vehicle's manufacturer service schedule, adding any additional item's not
included on our own service schedule as advisories. Items not included on our own service
schedule may be subject to extra charges - these will only be conducted following permission.
Should any complaint arise following car servicing performed by Servicing Stop Ltd, all
subsequent communications that are made concerning the resolution of the complaint
should be restricted between Servicing Stop Ltd and the customer, unless Servicing Stop
advises the customer to contact the garage directly. For full details about our complaints

Should a transaction exceed £1,000 - or should a fraud alert be raised - Servicing Stop Ltd
reserves the right to ask for payment to be made via BACS/CHAPS.
If an invoice remains unpaid we may pass on your details to an external collection company
and all additional fees incurred will be the liability of the customer not Servicing Stop.
By using and/or visiting any section (including sub-domains) of the Servicing website or any
other websites or applications that we own (the "Website") and/or registering on the
Website, you agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions;
our Privacy Policy;
our Cookies Policy and
the Rules applicable to the services we offer, and are deemed to have accepted and understood all the Terms.
Servicing Stop Premium Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Servicing Stop Premium
Subscription Service ("Service"). By subscribing to our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Subscription Services
Service Description: The Service provides members with industry leading
affordability for year-round car maintenance, labour costs and parts replacement.
Premium members will benefit from the sophisticated Servicing Stop live system™,
used by all our garages to help regulate labour times for work, using the exact
specifications recommended by the manufacturer and ensuring members are always
paying the minimum labour costs for any work
Subscription Plans and Payment
Subscription Plans: We offer various subscription plans with different features.
Details of each plan are available on our website.
Payment: By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the
applicable subscription fees to your designated payment method.
Billing Cycle: Subscription fees will be billed at the beginning of the subscription
period and each renewal period thereafter unless you cancel your subscription.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription fees for any renewal
period, but we will notify you in advance of any changes.
Free Trials
Eligibility: Free trials are available to new subscribers only and are limited to one trial per person.
Automatic Conversion: If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of the
free trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription,
and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.
Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as
otherwise stated in these Terms. If you cancel your subscription, you will
immediately lose access to the Service.
Use of the Service
License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You will be eligible to book your vehicle in for service under the Premium plan after 3
months of continuous subscription. Bookings that take place before 3 months of
continuous subscription will not be eligible for benefits listed under the Premium Plan.
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights associated with the
Service are the property of Servicing Stop or its licensors. You are not granted any
rights to such content or trademarks except as expressly set forth in these Terms.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into
these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our
practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
Changes to the Service and Terms
Modifications: We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will notify
you of any material changes to these Terms by email.
Continued Use: Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
Marketing Information
The statement advertising that Servicing Stop offer up to 60% off is based on a review and
comparison of our own service prices against the prices advertised by main dealerships. We
analysed the car makes and models which make up the majority of our job volume and
found that a material portion of these were at least 60% cheaper than main dealerships. For

Your Finances
By depositing funds into your account, you direct us and we agree to hold them, for the sole and specific purpose of using them in connection with the use of our services.
You agree that we shall be entitled to retain any interest which might accrue on monies held in your Servicing Stop account.
